Mindy Gurule is the Senior Associate Director of Admissions at UCLA School of Law. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the UCLA Law Review. Before joining UCLA Law's admissions office, Mindy practiced corporate law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. In her current role, Mindy reads and evaluates J.D. applications, helps oversee the admissions process, leads recruitment initiatives, and advises prospective students throughout the application cycle.

For almost three decades, Dean Sim has worked at three institutions and served in the leadership of the American Association of Law Schools (AALS) and the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). She was a board member for LSAC’s Board of Trustees, past-Chair of the AALS Section on Prelaw Education and Admission to Law School, and past Co-Chair of the Featured Speakers Committee for a quadrennial conference of the Prelaw Advisors National Council (PLANC) Conference. Shane Cooper JD ‘03 is the Senior Associate Dean of Enrollment and Student Services at Cornell Law School. In this role, he leads JD recruitment efforts and efforts to retain and support the current student body. He also provides strategic direction to the Dean of Students and Registrar staffs on all aspects of course registration, enrollment, and exam administration, counseling and student case management, and serves as the primary point of contact for the faculty Administrative Committee. He is the officer of record for character and fitness certification to bar authorities. A native Texan, Dean Mathiew Le earned his bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Prior to joining Texas Law, Dean Le was the assistant dean of admissions and financial aid at the University of Washington School of Law and the associate director of admissions and director of campus diversity at McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific in Sacramento, California. Dean Le has presented at numerous conferences and has held several leadership and service positions at the university, state, and national level, including AccessLex, Association of American Law Schools, and LSAC, where he served on the Board of Trustees and chaired the Services & Programs Committee and the educational conference for new law school admissions professionals.
