About Amy S. Malish

Ms. Malish is a Special Partner at Pugh Accardo in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is licensed in both Louisiana and Texas.

Ms. Malish works with both established and startup franchise companies in structuring franchise programs and drafting franchise-related documents. She also counsels franchisors on everyday compliance and other franchise issues, such as registration and disclosure matters, negotiating agreements, termination laws, maintaining good franchisee/distributor relations, and resolving disputes with franchisees. In addition, Ms. Malish has extensive experience litigating franchise disputes, having represented both franchisors and franchisees.

Outside of her work in the franchising space, Ms. Malish litigates commercial disputes, including defending life, health and disability and ERISA claims, fidelity and commercial crime claims, and employment matters. She also has a broad range of experience defending insurers in complex commercial litigation disputes, including class actions and mass actions, and litigating claims of employee misconduct involving trade secret violations, unfair trade practices, non-compete violations, invasion of privacy, Computer Fraud and Abuse Act issues, theft, and related disputes. Additionally, Ms. Malish provides legal advice and representation to a wide variety of clients including construction companies, trucking companies, real estate companies, financial institutions and private educational institutions in employment matters and contract negotiations.
