About Bridget McCormack

Bridget M. McCormack is President and CEO of the American Arbitration Association-International Centre for Dispute Resolution (AAA-ICDR), the leading global provider of alternative dispute resolution services. She assumed the role in 2023, bringing deep experience as a jurist, educator, and advocate for innovation in legal services.

McCormack is a Strategic Advisor to the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School’s Future of the Profession Initiative. She also serves on the founding steering committee of Duke Law’s Responsible AI in Legal Services (RAILS) initiative, is a special advisor to the ABA Task Force on AI, and has authored and spoken widely on AI’s impact on law and dispute resolution.

Previously, she was Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court, where she championed technology to expand access to justice, including online dispute resolution platforms and eviction diversion programs. A graduate of NYU Law, McCormack has also served on the faculties of Yale and the University of Michigan Law Schools.

Her insights help legal professionals and business leaders alike harness AI to drive strategic growth and expand access to justice.
