Bryan is an adjunct professor at New York University School of Law, where he teaches Tax Penalties and Prosecutions. He created the annual New York University Tax Controversy Forum and the Practicing Law Institute Tax Controversy Program. He is a fellow in the American College of Tax Counsel, and he has served as the chair of tax committees for several bar associations including the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and New York City Bar Association.
