About Melissa Silverstein

Melissa Silverstein is a Texas-licensed intellectual property attorney with nearly twenty years of experience in both law firm and in-house legal environments, and the founder of The Healed Professional, a recovery-informed leadership training and coaching practice for legal organizations and high-achieving professionals. Alongside her legal career, she has maintained over thirteen years of sobriety, which shaped her understanding of what it means to lead, perform, and build a sustainable professional life without alcohol. Her approach is grounded in lived experience, not theory.

Through The Healed Professional, Melissa offers recovery-informed leadership training for legal organizations and private coaching for high-achieving professionals navigating alcohol-free careers. Her work focuses on the intersection of professional culture, leadership development, and long-term sobriety, bringing practical tools and shared language to environments where these conversations are often avoided.

Melissa is based in Denver, where she is a mother to two grown children. She finds grounding in hot yoga, hiking the Colorado mountains, and her own continuing recovery journey.
