Troy Wood is an attorney with extensive experience in legal ethics, professional responsibility, and regulatory management within the legal profession, currently serving as Of Counsel at Reuter Corbett, LLP, where he manages the firm's Professional Responsibility and Legal Ethics Practice. His career highlights include managing jurisdiction relations for the National Conference of Bar Examiners, significantly contributing to the adoption of the Next Gen Uniform Bar Exam, and a long tenured as a regulatory administrator at the Oregon State Bar, where he served as Regulatory Counsel, overseeing admissions, MCLE, and other regulatory requirements that lawyers must comply with in order to maintain their licenses.

Wood held other positions for the Oregon State Bar, including working as the institution’s Admissions Manager and as a Client Assistance Office Attorney. Earlier in his career, he managed his own law practice, served in Of Counsel roles, was the Chief Operations Officer and General Counsel for a golf concessionaire business, and worked as a litigator and in-house counsel for large companies. Wood earned his J.D. from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA, and his B.A. in Pre-Law from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA.

Wood has also had a lifelong commitment to service, including six years in United States Marine Corps Reserves, and has held various positions in many professional committees and volunteer organizations. Wood presently serves on the Oregon State Bar’s Legal Ethics Committee (LEC). The Oregon State Bar's Legal Ethics Committee (LEC) is a volunteer body made up of attorneys appointed by the Oregon Supreme Court. The LEC develops formal ethics opinions, evaluates changes to the Oregon Rules of Professional Conduct, and provides guidance on professional responsibility matters for members upon reasonable request.
